another disaster averted as pilot makes emergency landing in Sokoto

The country would have been thrown into another serious mourning but for the wisdom of a pilot who made an emergency landing after an aircraft conveying about 400 passengers to Another plane crash was averted this morning in Sokoko when a Saudi bound Kabo Air plane carrying 400 passengers Saudi Arabia developed fault.
The pilot made the emergency landing at the Sir Abubakar III International Airport, following the explosion of the aircraft, a Boeing 747 jumbo jet’s tyres immediately after take off.
It was gathered that the plane had left Kano on Friday enroute Saudi Arabia. However, all passengers were said to have been evacuated successfully from the aircraft and lodged in a hotel in Sokoto State.
This is coming barely 72 hours after an Embraer aircraft belonging to Associated Airlines crashed in Lagos shortly after take-off from the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.
The 30-seater aircraft had 20 passengers on board including seven crew members on board and the remains of former Ondo State governor, Olusegun Agagu crashed about 9:30am, killing 15.
